Especially, I understand the wide range of stressors young people face in this day and age, and the resulting symptoms – for example: how peer conflict, parent-child relationship difficulties, and social media addiction can lead to anxiety, depression, panic/overwhelm, substance use, identity crisis, self-harm, etc.
I weave EMDR, somatics, and attachment-based approach to help adolescents and adults reconnect with the experience of being in their body, learning to live comfortably with feelings, emotions, and to express needs in a mature way. I help young people learn to manage the challenges that naturally come with the responsibilities of growing into adulthood.
