As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I aim to help adults, older adults, families, and couples stop struggling with difficult emotions and start living a life that aligns with their values. I have extensive experience helping individuals experiencing life transitions, disordered eating behaviors, body image issues, ADHD, substance abuse, LGBTQI+ issues, illness, chronic pain, communication problems, burnout, the effects of trauma and more.
I am passionate about mentoring other mental health professionals and offer group and individual supervision to help prospective Clinical Social Workers earn their license.
My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have extensive training in both and have completed my IFS Level 1 training. I have a clinical gerontology credential and am adept at working with older adults. I also enjoy working with younger adults, couples, families and other mental health professionals.
I take a non-judgmental stance and am sensitive to all lived experiences. One of my passions is learning about my clients’ unique faiths, cultures, gender identities, sexual orientation expressions, and family/relationship dynamics. I offer a safe place to work through difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
