The counseling process I employ utilizes components of insight oriented modalities such as mindfulness; specifically dependent on client need. My approach to counseling is therefore much more eclectic, meaning I use an array of techniques, but guided under the foundations of Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practices.
A successful therapeutic alliance is based almost solely on the nature of the relationship between the counselor, and the client; this is the foundation of definitive growth.
