About
As a gay man, I know what it's like to wonder if I am going to be accepted by others. I have struggled to speak honestly with my doctor, dermatologist and even my real estate agent. I also know what it's like to wonder if my therapist truly understood who I am. Choosing a new therapist is stressful enough without having to worry if your therapist is "gay friendly." Whether it's overcoming feelings of anxiety and depression, wanting a better sense of control in your life or tackling some of those nagging relationship issues, I provide supportive, focused and relevant therapy to the LGBTQ community.
The most important factor in successful therapy is how you relate and feel supported by your therapist. I provide a space where you can make those changes through counseling that makes sense and is relevant to you. My therapeutic approach tends to be person-centered and eclectic that allows for us to find the balance you are looking for in therapy.
Working with gay men and LGBTQ clients allows me to focus on the unique needs of our community. My desire is to provide you with supportive, focused and relevant therapy so that you can live the life you want to live. If you've been thinking about starting or returning to therapy and want a safe and supportive space, I'd love to hear from you!
