Psychological and psycho-educational testing can be useful in identifying a variety of clinical concerns, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, Autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, and psychosis. I rely on multiple sources of information, such as tests of personality and behavior, ability or intelligence, and personal and collateral interviews. I strive to be thorough, objective, well reasoned, and understandable in my feedback to clients.
Typically, psychological assessments provide diagnostic clarification, evaluate and document particular areas of functioning or disability for school or employment settings, and provide recommendations with regard to accommodations, compensation strategies, and treatment needs.
I conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations with people of all ages. I am trained and equipped to complete evaluations with children as young as three years of age, as well as adolescents and adults.
