Life is… complicated. Even at the best of times. When intense emotional concerns – your own or your child’s – join the mix, it can feel like the walls are caving in. Whether it be an acute situation or a chronic concern, I work with my clients to strengthen their connection to their own values and rediscover their inherent power to move themselves closer to living their most genuine and fulfilling life. I aid them in unraveling the tangle that our internal experiences can become so they can see a clearer picture.
With children, I utilize the evidence-based practice of play therapy to help them process difficult thoughts and feelings. I help them learn more effective ways to communicate their feelings and needs. With adolescents and adults, I incorporate creative arts interventions into talk therapy to help them tap into the promise and hope for the future.
Life is an adventure. Sometimes there are beautiful sunsets filled with magic. Other times, there be goblins.
