I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach in therapy with some mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy sprinkled in. I like to incorporate traditional talk therapy with art, mindfulness, and parts work. I also use EMDR for clients who are interested.
I work to frame each session with unconditional positive regard. This allows hope and a positive therapeutic relationship to grow and flourish. I would describe myself as having a relaxed, comforting style.
