Please allow me to use my 20 + years of experience to assist you and/ or your family! I am a licensed clinical social worker with specialization working with children and families. I provide individual, family and group counseling for those persons experiencing mental health diagnosis(anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD), separation, divorce, parenting, behavioral, school and work related issues. I utilize a multi-modal treatment approach designed specifically to meet your unique situation and needs.
For clients that have experienced a trauma, I utilize EMDR. The cognitions or memories of trauma can get stuck in that past experience and continue to affect present life! Using bilateral stimulation helps the body & mind heal, tapping into the thoughts, images, feelings and physical sensations associated with the trauma. I employ CBT, Mindfulness, Sand
I also utilize Hypnosis and Sand Play Therapy. Both treatment techniques are hands on powerful therapeutic tools that facilitate the psyche's natural capacity for healing and growth.
