I use evidence based techniques including EMDR, IFS, brainspotting, yoga, meditation and breath work to help people become more comfortable in their daily lives, bodies and relationships.
I work with a variety of people with a common set of experiences-the after effects of trauma, both childhood and throughout the lifespan. Untreated trauma is often accompanied by anxiety, depression, physical problems and addictions.

I am also a Brainspotting practicioner.
You don’t have to go through this alone. A meaningful life is always full of challenges, and sometimes we need a trusted guide for a difficult leg of the journey. When you make the decision to try therapy, you deserve to feel safe, valued, and understood by your therapist. My approach is open and authentic. I believe in warmth, humor, and engaging as a human being, not just as a clinician.

At times, we can find ourselves dealing with unresolved feelings of anxiety, fear, self-doubt, shame, and trauma. However we can still blossom. The therapeutic process goes beyond the individual. It must be addressed within the individual and their environment, and should include their cultural experiences, practices, and traditions, as well as their spirituality; this approach provides collective healing. I practice a holistic approach to providing therapeutic care. I integrate components of the mind, body, and spirit within therapeutic modalities to address the needs of each individual or family.

Being a human in this world is weird and complicated. It's a rollercoaster that can be fun and exciting but it can also be difficult for us to stay on through all the twists and turns. I work with you to take your strengths and tackle the rollercoaster together. I strongly believe that therapy is safe, collaborative, supportive, open, honest, caring, challenging and empowering. The neurotypical world expects us to fit in, but as a neurodivergent affirming therapist, I'm here to encourage you to stand out!

As a mIdlife woman, do you feel like you're constantly on edge, even when you've achieved so much? You conquer goals, manage demanding schedules, and project confidence. But is there a nagging undercurrent of anxiety or fatigue that just won't quit? Are you struggling to connect deeply in your relationships? Recent challenges like a divorce or health scare might be impacting you now, or maybe you carry the weight of past experiences. Whatever the cause, isn't it time to break free and reclaim the vibrant, thriving life you deserve?

Are you feeling alone, anxious, or depressed? Are you frustrated and struggling with relationships, caregiving responsibilities, or parenting? Would it feel better to communicate in healthier ways and respond with intention rather than “react-then-regret”? Maybe you’re facing a difficult transition, whether leaving home for the first time, starting a family, navigating midlife changes and responsibilities, or grieving losses. Coping with everyday life can feel complicated even when we’re at our best; other times it can be overwhelming, confusing, and even scary.

As we walk through different seasons of our lives, we may all need caring individuals that can offer interventions, help and/or support during our circumstances. Going further, I believe that we were innately created to be in covenant or relationship with our creator, our family or other social circles that we choose to surround ourselves with. However, it is a very personal choice as to how each one of us chooses to go about this path. My strong belief in this basic aspect of life gave birth to Covenant Intuition Center.

Brainspotting Therapists

How does brainspotting work?

Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?

Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?

Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?

A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
