Our approach to therapy is eclectic. Therapy is tailored collaboratively with the client based on their needs. Our trauma specialists have been trained in a variety of modules, including Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Brainspotting, somatic therapies, the Havening Techniques, EMDR, parts work/IFS, etc.

Sexual Abuse Survivors Group: IFS Informed (FULL)

Group for Female Identified Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse: The format includes group discussions using parts language, guided IFS exercises/meditations that that emphasize working with protective, exiled, blended and polarized parts in a group setting and cultivating increased self energy. IFS therapy offers participants the ability to work towards increased self-compassion, reduction of shame, assistance in unburdening parts who have been forced into extreme roles as a survivor strategy and healing wounded and traumatized parts. Ultimately the group aims to empower survivors through recovering from childhood sexual abuse by healing the wounds of the past and provided a new experience in the present.

Dissociative Disorder’s Consultation Group

FOR THERAPISTS: Bi-Monthly case consultation group for Complex Trauma and Dissociative Disorders. A safe and supportive place to get help with dissociative cases for mental health professionals. This consultation group will address current theories of Complex-PTSD and dissociation, including case conceptualization, treatment planning, and phase-orientated therapy. This group is geared toward mental health professionals who are interested in developing their skills in treating clients with chronic trauma-related dissociative disorders. Groups meet every other month on Fridays from 10 am-12 pm.
