Group therapy for at-risk youth who may be experimenting with drug use and/or delinquency. This group will discuss drug awareness and the effects it can have on the adolescent brain and future self. This group will also focus on emotional intelligence, developing and improving interpersonal skills, and developing empathy. Addiction Psychoeducation
Evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Intervention group will provide psychoeducation about the various reasons how people become addicted to drugs or chemically dependent through alcohol use. This group will not only address the addiction but also bring about awareness of behaviors connected to addiction that one must be mindful of to prevent relapse.
