My practice is 100% virtual. I am able to treat clients residing in California. As a Medicare provider, I enjoy working with seniors facing aging related issues. Individuals and couples facing a variety of issues including loss of all types is a focus in my practice. This includes the death of a loved one, divorce or separation, job loss, infertility, and retirement. My approach is practical, supportive, and evidence-based.
I am a certified grief counselor specializing in suicide and traumatic deaths. While not everyone experiences grief, I am equally comfortable working with issues pertaining to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, LGBTQ, sexuality, life transitions, care of aging parents, spiritual and existential concerns.
I have worked in the non profit health care field in the areas of palliative care, hospice, and senior care. I was the director of a non-profit cancer cancer in San Jose as well. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Bay Area chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
