I am a generalist in the provision of psychotherapy. The quality of the therapeutic relationship is essential to successful therapy outcomes. To that end I provide an authentic, empathic, honest, direct, but not directive, therapeutic presence. I am very responsive to patients' needs and requests. My integrative approach is molded to the needs of each patient. I present in an empathic, honest, open manner while utilizing client-centered and cognitive therapy orientations. I am well versed and trained in relaxation/stress management, and hypnotherapy techniques, and when indicated, with patient support, bring those interventions into the therapeutic process.
Improved quality of life and self-empowement are always the therapy goal. I work with patients experiencing trauma (recent and past), depression, anxiety/panic, obsessive-compulsive patterns, sexual orientation, substance abuse, process addictions (i.e.: gambling, sex, shopping), relationship difficulties including couples and parenting issues. I serve adolescents and adults.
