When your heart is breaking, everyone wants to tell you about a time theirs broke too. This is not what you need or want. You question the things you used to believe with confidence. Your emotional and spiritual landmarks have moved. Everyone wants to help. No one knows how. You are lonely and withdrawn, but did you know that this is what grief is like?
I can listen without expectation or pushing. I won't mention any stages of grief since this is not helpful. To reduce a relationship with your special person, plans, dreams, inside jokes, and so much more, to a list of stages? Please! Working with grieving individuals is my specialty and I've been doing it for 20 years. I want to work with you.
As a minister, I can lead you through your goals in a manner consistent with Scripture. As a chaplain, I have been trained to work with individuals of all faiths (and none).
I have also achieved Board Certification in Sex Addiction Therapy. I welcome clients on either side of infidelity as well as clients who have experienced sexual addiction or abuse.
