Announcement icon I do EMDR intensives by secure video, which has been very effective. Sliding scale available if necessary. Please call for more info.
I do EMDR intensives to treat trauma, depression, anxiety, gambling and substance abuse. Unlike traditional "talk" therapy which typically only engages the left brain, EMDR engages the entire brain using bilateral stimulation to heal even deep-seated habit patterns and trauma response symptoms. My approach has proven to be effective in offering rapid healing at a gentle pace that is comfortable for you. After helping you to feel fully grounded using an approach called resourcing, we will work together to heal the pain of past traumas and address addictive patterns using EMDR and EMDR-based addictions protocols.
I am an addiction and trauma therapy specialist, a professional trainer, and author of group curriculum (EMDR-based, trauma-informed, 38- and 15-week treatment programs). I teach other therapists how to use EMDR-related techniques. EMDR is my passion because it has the capacity to gently and dramatically transform lives.
The poet Hafiz captures my heart: "I wish I could show you | When you are lonely or in darkness | The astonishing light of your own being!" It would be my profound privilege to watch you awaken to an awareness of your own light, free from the addictive patterns and traumas of your past. I look forward to being a part of your healing.
