As an expert in Sport and Performance Psychology, I work with current and former athletes (age 14 and up), coaches, caregivers of athletes, and individuals in high-stress jobs, particularly individuals who experience physical injury, burnout, relationship distress, performance anxiety, self-esteem struggles, identity development, perfectionism, managing change, and body image concerns. My goal as a therapist is to create a supportive and collaborative space and relationship with my clients to allow for in-depth exploration and perspective taking.
We will work together to recognize the strengths within you, better understand areas for growth, and engage in tangible actions to live your life most effectively according to your values. My therapy style is easygoing, transparent, and approachable with a sprinkle of dry humor mixed in.
Therapy is a place for vulnerability that might take some time to grow and foster, and with time will lead to greater insight and stronger ability to manage and cope through challenging and difficult experiences. It is incredibly important to me in my work with all clients to explore and discuss the various cultures and identities that you identify with.
