Through the lens of IFS, an evidence based therapeutic modality, I view seemingly self destructive behaviors as your psyche’s way of protecting you from feeling the pain inside. I use a combination of skills focused work (primarily through DBT), and inner work, to help you feel safe enough to let go of old behaviors, and heal the angst beneath it all.
