I am a CSAT (Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist), credentialed by the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) to work with clients struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors. I have over a decade of personal and professional experience working in recovery from pornography addiction and problematic sexual behavior, and utilize a trauma-informed approach to treat process addictions, anxiety/depression, PTSD, and dissociative disorders. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services from Evangel University, and received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri State University.

My specialties include recovery from pornography/sex addiction, treatment of trauma and PTSD (especially for sexual abuse). I also work with dissociative disorders, religious cult/abuse recovery, and (upon client request) spiritual integration.

When working with my clients on their core issues, I begin by asking them, “What happened to you?”, instead of, “What’s wrong with you?”, because once we know someone’s story, we can began to understand how we arrived at the point of crisis. When life becomes unmanageable, even the strongest and most resilient folks need someone to come alongside and help.

I am an Existentialist who relies heavily on Narrative Therapy, gently coaxing my client to re-tell (and eventually re-frame) their traumatic experiences. I focus on the mind/body connection, increasing body awareness, and naming/putting words to their inner experiences.
