I have a diverse and experienced background in helping teenagers, adults, and families through challenging times. You will gain tools you can use right away to begin making progress on the goals set in counseling. I have provided solution-focused therapy with results for my clients for over 20 years. I additionally use cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate insight and growth. This is a welcoming place for you to process the events of your life and effectively meet the challenges.
I specialize in therapy with young adults 18-30 and teenagers with many successful first meetings that create the trust and rapport to make meaningful gains and results. I emphasize communication, self-esteem building, and life management skills. I use Sports Psychology with competitive athletes of all ages to help them accomplish their goals.
I have been a competitive athlete and continue to enjoy running and yoga. I am a dog lover and outdoor enthusiast and have lived in Washington most my life. I support the local artist and musician community. Being a professional therapist is a true passion of mine and I work to make the therapy experience rewarding for my clients.
