Couples work with me to get help moving through tough spots. On their own, they may have found a way to make things work, for a while or just briefly, but then things somehow get hard again. Together, we figure out where they're getting stuck in an old familiar dance, and how to rewrite the script.
I work with people to figure out why they keep feeling the way they do in relationships. Disappointed or misunderstood. Hurt or lonely. Guilty or ashamed. Unfulfilled or bored. We figure out and replace patterns of relating that might be creating obstacles to joy and clouding their sense of peace.
It isn't easy going through a tough spot, let alone bringing it up to someone new. Starting out treatment can offer relief and it can also be scary. After all, we'll be reworking ways of relating that you've used for years. In my practice, we work together at the pace you want to, in order to get you where you want to go. You're right where you need to be.
