I am passionate about helping adults take back their lives from the impact of the traumas they have experienced. I believe not only can you survive, you can thrive. I treat a wide variety of trauma and other mental health challenges through gentle, welcoming, and compassionate treatment. I employ carefully chosen and measured therapies that bring healing while expanding clients’ ability to cope better with everyday life. My ultimate goal is to help clients get unstuck and move forward in their lives.
It’s important to know that individuals do not have to remember or talk about their traumas to heal from them. There really are no words adequate enough to talk about trauma, so I focus strongly on employing a variety of evidence-based therapies that give clients opportunities to express their inner experiences with few or no words.
I have extensive additional training and experience in using EMDR and Attachment Focused EMDR and am fully certified in EMDR by EMDRI dot org. I also use parts work, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, problem-solving techniques and other therapies as needed and appropriate.
