Hello, my name is Bonnie Sabb and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing tele-therapy throughout California. I appreciate the courage it takes to reach out to a therapist to talk about personal and often painful life experiences, and I am honored to be doing this important and meaningful work after over 30 years in the field. My approach varies based on the needs of the client with a foundation of warmth, safety, and collaboration.
The modalities I use most frequently are Integrative or Holistic Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy and I pull from other approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Attachment Therapy, Positive Therapy, and Somatic and Mindfulness approaches.
During our first meeting, you will have the opportunity to share what is bringing you to therapy, what you’re struggling with, and what you are hoping to accomplish as you get a sense of my therapeutic style. I will be asking for insights into your history, your relationships, and your experiences.
