About
My style of therapy includes mindfulness, resilience, and healing clients find the strength that resides in all of us. I can and will be at times very blunt and to the point but I do know that this is your life being discussed not mine. I have an inclusive feminist background and am comfortable working with all genders.
My clinical specialties include personality disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, adjusting to new situations, and trauma. I have experience in crisis intervention including suicide and self injury prevention. I believe that laughter is the best medicine and that everyone is capable of living the best life possible.
In therapy we learn to tell a different story about ourselves, one that is not as harsh, filled with more self love, compassion, and caring; one where we can weave a softer ending. I am always honored when individuals start that process with me.
