I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, parents of neurodivergent kids, social anxiety, and midlife transitions. I believe counseling is more than sharing feelings; it is a collaborative exploration and solution-finding that empowers you to learn how to manage life stressors. My counseling style is warm, empathetic, honest, and direct. You can expect it to be goal-oriented, with plenty of space for processing emotions. I work with clients from 12 years to adulthood, with a specialty focused on neurodivergent individuals with autism, ADHD as well as adults struggling with social anxiety or life transitions. My goal is to help you understand life triggers, and together, we will develop practical strategies and tools you can use to manage stress with greater ease.
I use a holistic approach, addressing body, mind, and spirit. My experience as a therapist, school counselor, advocate, artist, author, parent, and business coach brings a unique perspective to each session. Struggling with eating issues? Looking for support for recovery? Rachel Cannon, AMFT 1:1 therapy and in-patient experience supporting individuals with eating challenges. She uses depth psychology, CBT, and DBT to help support recover. Join us to learn coping skills and gain support from others. Intake session is required prior to joining the group.
