I approach my work with deep compassion for those who have been affected and shaped by the struggles of an addicted loved one. Like many in the mental health profession, my passion springs from my own painful experiences in a family with generational addictions. I am committed to bringing my authentic self to each therapy session. It is an honor to be fully present and to hold your trust as you discover the strengths and courage to address the obstacles that are preventing you from living a meaningful, values-based life.
I bring a strength based, solution-focused, practical approach to my practice while incorporating mindfulness and holistic skills that enhance overall well being. My specialties include the treatment of anxiety, depression, chronic pain management, life transitions, grief and loss, marriage/couples therapy, and parenting challenges.
I am a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and have received extensive training from some the most distinguished teacher/therapists in psychotherapy. I would be happy to explain and explore ways this tool might enhance your treatment.
