I work with clients who are experiencing struggles with anxiety, depression and relationships. This include “people pleasing”, difficulties with self-compassion, navigating relationships that may be clouded by the tendency to highly value harmonious relationships, struggling with issues related to Narcissistic abuse, trying to “fit in” to a world that often feels draining and overstimulating, having difficulty speaking up in their relationships because they’d rather avoid conflict, and who are wanting to explore what the invitation of their symptom(s) or problem might be.
As a Depth Psychological oriented therapist with over 20 years of experience, I help sensitive people through life's difficulties. I use practices such as EMDR, mindfulness, archetypal theory, communication skills, emotion regulation techniques, tools for increasing self-awareness, dreamwork, and working with inner parts.
I believe the goal of therapy is not necessarily to help clients pursue a “happier” life, or even self-awareness for the sake of self-awareness, but to better be able to bring a more soulful way of living back out into their lives; their families and relationships, communities, and the greater world.
