About
Welcome! My name is Bonnie Galvan and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in treating several issues including anxiety, depression, family conflict, gender and sexual orientation based and/or identity issues, amongst others. I work well with a variety of ages and am culturally sensitive and able to work with any and all ethnicities. My therapeutic approach is person centered and I use a wide variety of treatment techniques which correlate directly with whatever issue my patients are having.
Therapy is a process that, in my opinion, can help anyone who is willing to look at things in a different way, willing to try new things to get a better result. I believe we all need help at some point and we all suffer the result of our histories, our families and our relationships, a common experience that I too have had to address in my own life.
I aim to help people find their way without judgment or lecturing, just a regular person helping you see for yourself what changes can do in your life, to make it better and manageable. You are in charge of your goals and I am here to support you in reaching them. I encourage you to schedule an appointment today to start our journey together!
