Welcome! Whether you’re new to therapy or seeking a better fit, I’m glad you’re here. I’m Bonnie Dupuis, a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinician at Clarté Counseling LLC. I am also Level II trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, with specialized expertise in working with complex relational issues, including affairs, addiction, trauma, and domestic violence.
As an adoptee, I’m deeply passionate about helping others navigate their toughest struggles, fostering deeper self-awareness and growth along the way. I work with individuals, couples, and families, ages 6 and up, and have a particular focus on trauma, grief, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, depression, and the unique challenges of the foster and adoptive community.
My approach is eclectic, combining trauma-informed, evidence-based methods and a strengths-based perspective. I view therapy through a systemic and multicultural lens, honoring the various factors that shape your experiences. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to heal and grow.
