Life is full of challenges for each and every one of us. In my 20 plus years of working as a Mental Health Care Professional I have learned that the hurdles we face ultimately help us to change and grow. I have worked with individuals and couples from all walks of life, coping with loss, relationship issues, life changing medical diagnosis, reproductive trauma, career challenges, anxiety, trauma and depression.
Bonnie Cochran, LCSW is a Board Certified Diplomat in Clinical Social Work with over 20 years experience as a psychotherapist, specializing in grief, loss, bereavement and reproductive trauma. Her passion, throughout her career, has been helping families who have suffered the loss of a child, perinatal loss, reproductive trauma, infertility and acute crisis.
I am a co-founder of 3Hopeful Hearts, a non profit organization helping parents who have lost a child of any age. Of particular interest to me is the enormous impact on women and men when they have problems creating a family. The trauma of infertility and/or pregnancy loss, when a child is much desired, can be devastating and life altering.
