My goal as a Mental Health Counselor is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, place for people to discuss concerns, and work through life's challenges. I understand that all people will experience some form of difficulties during their lives, whether it be a traumatic event or an expected life obstacle that one may be experiencing challenges overcoming. Participating in a therapeutic counseling process may assist in taking the next positive step towards personal success and happiness.
I believe the benefits of counseling will be different for everyone. I will approach individual cases from a multitude of models to meet personal needs. The client / counselor relationship will be one of respect and honesty. I will work with you to identify needs, set goals, and adjust problematic thinking and behaviors to reflect desired outcomes.
I have 15 years of counseling experience with adolescents and adults. The central focus of my practice has been assisting individuals though life transitions.
