Hello my name is Bogan Avery! I am a certified Licensed Professional Counselor, and am also Christian counselor. I have experienced working with a number of issues such as depression, anxiety, family issues, relational issues, anger management, self-harm, bi-polar disorder, and autism. I have received my training and Masters degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Harding University. The experiences I engaged in at Harding were and will forever be some of the most life altering and eye opening experiences; this is what drives me to continue in working with families and individuals in therapy.
As a therapist I attempt to engage people where they are as well as challenge them to move in a direction that will offer the health they are looking for within their own self, relationship with others, and relationship with God. I utilize Clinical Hypnosis, Experiential, CBT, and Solution Focused techniques with the teachings of the Gospels.
My personal life is full of change and growth. My wife and I have lived in SC for almost 4 years, and have two daughters(ages 3/1).
