I specialize in treating trauma and anxiety using EMDR Therapy, and I focus on early childhood experiences and relationship issues.

Therapy is becoming more normalized in a way that it wasn’t for your parents or grandparents. This is an opportunity to explore your own wants/needs, boundaries and personal values that drive your life daily. I focus on three main modalities of mindfulness, somatic experiencing and EMDR. I start every session with a 5-10min mindfulness meditation. Secondly, somatic experiencing is feeling your emotions through physical sensations. Lastly I am trained in EMDR which can be helpful for a range of symptoms from anxiety, depression to PTSD. I also offer psychedelic/ entheogens intention setting and/or integration therapy.

I'm Amanda, providing in person and telemental health services to Colorado residents from emergent adulthood into seniority. I seek to provide a comfortable, welcoming space for clients to work through life’s challenges both large and small. Together, we’ll devote our time to cultivating growth and self-awareness while building upon existing strengths. We all have the ability to change, grow, and self-heal. My ideal clients are adults experiencing burnout in helping professions, or who are at a transitional time in life. You know there is more out there, but you are stuck in a routine of your own making that doesn’t match what you know is possible. My clients are most often highly intelligent, self aware, and marginalized people who have a history of trauma and have struggled with perfectionism and over-achieving their entire lives.
