I’ve been a counselor for 25 years and have lots of life experience to add to our counseling experience. I enjoy using humor, and evidence-based treatment to help clients reach their goals. I am a licensed clinical social worker and have a PhD in counseling. I believe in client self-determination, and will work with you to achieve the goals that matter to you.
Our first session together will be relaxed. It will involve you getting to know me better and me getting to know you better. I try to keep questions to a minimum and make it more of a conversation to put both of us at ease. I look for ways to use humor during the first session without being disrespectful.
I listen well, I’m rarely shocked, and I stay positive by believing that you can achieve your goals and have a positive counseling experience leading to improvement and lasting change.
