We all hit ‘bumps in the road’ that require a listening ear, compassionate care, and often a new perspective. Seeking a safe and supportive counseling relationship can be the first step to your best mental health and wellness. As a counselor I help pre-teens, teens, and adults navigate a wide range of human experiences: depression, anxiety, fear, family conflict, trauma, as well as the ordinary changes and transitions of life.
My background in youth ministry, education, and client advocacy has shaped my holistic approach to therapy. I often utilize creative interventions such as art, drama, and written expression in the therapeutic setting. In light of the current pandemic and social distancing protocols, I am offering outdoor 'walk and talk' sessions.
As well as individual counseling I have been trained in Trauma healing and lead groups to address grief, loss, and resilience after trauma. Together we will set realistic goals, identify your strengths, and develop coping skills so you can make the changes you desire.
