I have been in healthcare as a mental health professional for over 35 years. As an integrative psychotherapist I combine both science and a broad spectrum of spiritual philosophies and practices. I assist by providing guidance and direction to those who seek healing. I work with you putting the pieces of the puzzle together helping you towards relief and ultimately peace. The combination of the traditional psychotherapeutic clinically based training and the multiple spiritual models of thought and various ideologies together are extremely successful and offer hope in healing.
I specialize in anxiety and depression. We must let go of that which no longer works for us in order for there to be space for all that is good to enter our lives! My background is from a medical family, a dad who was a psychiatrist and a sister who is a psychiatric nurse! My clients are women and men, teens, adolescents and families .
The body, mind and spirit must all be balanced and work together. Science, sociology, history, the arts, spirituality, along with much more shape and guide us. Psychotherapy must be integrated into all other knowledge bases , to provide tools and services for it to be most effective. Forgiveness, compassion kindness and gratitude are the starting points.
