My ideal client is motivated to work and understand the issues before them. They are able to take real talk, sprinkled with a little good natured sarcasm and humor, to tackle their challenges. I enjoy working with law enforcement and those who have served, but welcome anyone that feels that I might be a good fit for them. Any client that sees me should anticipate real talk about their current situations and reasons for seeking treatment. They will also soon know that they'll receive genuine compassion and solution focused conversations, to move them to a better place than where they were when they began the journey with me.

I have spent nearly 18 years loving my work as a social worker in a maximum security prison. My passion became the well being of corrections officers, law enforcement, first responders and those who have served our country. My insight into that unique culture will allow for real talk, without having to try to explain "the job". A great starting point!

During my career in the prison system, I have seen burn out and watched people struggle every day who aren't comfortable talking about the realities of the job.
