I enjoy working with motivated & committed people. Empowering women is very important to me. I also enjoy helping men to understand themselves better. We all have a feminine and masculine side, might as well get to know those parts of ourselves. I like to help people feel better, decrease their anxiety and depression and figure out their life. I do a lot of work with exploring your childhood and family dynamics and it's impacts on you. I like to help people gain more prosperity, increase connections, become empowered, stop victimization, and find your authentic self.
I specialize in trauma/PTSD and use EMDR to facilitate rapid healing. I want to help you get better quickly, I don't want you to waste your money or my time, the more committed to your treatment you are, the faster you will get better. EMDR is a highly effective form of psychotherapy that has revolutionized the field of trauma treatment.
I have 20 years of clinical experience, a University of Michigan graduate (2003). My own life includes growing up on a farm in an alcoholic and violent family. I am a Returned Peace Corps & Crisis Corps volunteer. I have a down to earth style, and believe in being open, honest, transparent and having a few laughs along the way.
