I am a licensed therapist with 34 years of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges. Married for 49 years, I am blessed with three grown children who continue to inspire me. My approach to counseling is grounded in a person-centered philosophy that values empathy, acceptance, and respect, while also maintaining healthy boundaries that support growth and accountability. I believe each individual has the capacity to find their own unique path toward healing and purpose, and my role is to walk alongside them as they discover it.
The first session is a meet-and-greet where we get to know each other and exchange important background information. We will take a brief look at your concerns, define the main problem you want to address, and discuss possible approaches we can take to work toward your goals.
My greatest strengths come from both professional and personal experience. With over three decades in the counseling field, raising three children to adulthood, and 49 years of marriage, I bring a depth of understanding, perspective, and practical wisdom to every client I work with.
