My name is Thorne (they/them) and I am a white, queer, non-binary licensed clinical social worker associate (LCSWA) offering both individuals and couples/relationship therapy in Durham, NC. My work is grounded in fierce compassion and a belief that everyone is capable of healing and feeling like they belong. It is my experience that one of the key elements of transformative therapy is our relationship; that we are a good “fit” and that you feel safe to share your joy, anger, grief, and tears. Those of you trying to recover from narcissistic abuse, domestic abuse or IPV, those of you trying to recover from any form of trauma, those of you who feel anxious as hell, I want to help ease the stress, fear, and pain. I've got over 15 years of clinical experience and a whole lotta life experience at this point that informs my work. While what we face is nothing new, it's also true that this is a really hard time for so many reasons. Let's start by validating that.

I am currently taking clients! I have an interest in and experience working with individuals who are seeking guidance with navigating their world. I have worked with them in a variety of areas such as exploring their identity, learning healthy habits, and growing in their relationships with others. I have previously worked in community mental health with folx ages 6-23, and my current passion is working with individuals aged 13+.
