I am Nate Wilson, Jr., MSW, LCAS. I am a Licensed Clinical Addiction Psychotherapist, Specialist. I’ve been in the field of mental health for over 25 years. I’ve worked with various people from various backgrounds as it relates to cultural diversity such as race, gender, religion, ethnicity, and other distinct groups, each of which has different values and lifestyles. I earned my Master of Clinical Social Work from Fordham University, NYC, NY. I have been practicing in a licensed capacity since 2016. As a therapist, I use eclectic therapy approaches that cover many theories.

Life can be very difficult at times, and I want to help. I have had the opportunity to train in a variety of therapeutic modalities, making me uniquely qualified to utilize the interventions that are most appropriate for each of my clients. In order to determine the most appropriate form of treatment, I collaborate with each of my clients to determine the issues they would like to address and the goals they would like to achieve. We are then in a better position to determine the most efficacious treatment modality.

Dr. Wanda Brown-Ramseur, LPC-S, LCAS-S, NCC, MAC, CCS, CCSOTS, is a Trauma and Addiction Professional in private practice, Steps Toward Success, located in Greensboro, NC. Wanda demonstrates the highest levels of commitment to the mental health profession by offering therapy options in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress, Depression, Trauma Reactive Behaviors, Attachment Disorders, Substance Abuse/Addiction Disorder, Complex and Secondary Trauma. Wanda practices EMDR as a comprehensive approach to psychotherapy, particularly as it applies to individuals that have experienced complex, secondary and interpersonal trauma events.

Each potential client is different and brings different values and challenges to therapy. The goals, needs, or issues of every single person are just as important to me as my own, therefore I approach each client using a client-centered or Person-Centered Approach to ensure I am putting the needs of my clients before my own. My goal as a client-centered therapist is to prioritize the well-being of the individuals I serve and who place their trust in me as a licensed counselor.

I work with EDMR, Grief/Loss, Bipolar, Complex Trauma, PTSD, DID, Attachment Issues, ODD/Conduct Disorder Issues, Depression, Juvenile Sex Offending and Victims, LGBTQ Community, EAP Referrals, Long and Short Term Therapy, Christian Counseling to those with this interest. I work with age groups from 10 years of age and up. Psycho-sexual Assessments ( sexual misbehavior) for ages 10-18 and Bio-Psycho assessments (behavior) upon request.

Melissa is also the founder of Women of Strength, a non-profit educational organization focused on women's networking and community awareness.
