I provide clinical supervision to LCMHCAs, mental health counseling to other therapists & to individuals, couples & groups. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method Couples Counseling & other modalities to help my clients resolve concerns including, but not limited to, sexual assault , domestic violence, BLM & LGBTQIA related concerns, stress management, anxiety, depression, parenting & couples skills, life-work balance, body image, self image, eating disorders & general weight management.

My therapy is based on a solution focused brief therapy model that assists in identifying unique strengths then utilizing these resources to support recovery and growth. I am licensed both in Connecticut and in North Carolina, providing services in both states. I have over 20 years working in the counseling/therapy field. My background includes a Masters Degree in Education and Counseling with extensive experiences with children, adolescents, adults and families. I have 20 years experience as a clinician and work with all age groups providing individual, marital, family, and group counseling services. Additionally I taught full time for UNC-Wilmington and was the UNCW Extension Campus Social Work Program Coordinator. I have presented statewide for the National Association for Social Workers on topics such as "Working with Military and their Families", "Working with Children Diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorders", and "Positive Discipline Techniques." Additionally, I facilitate the only state approved Batterer Intervention Program in Onslow County for Domestic Violence Incidences.
