She has a passion for supporting military members, veterans, and their families. MaLena is also a trained Reiki master and offers an affirming, safe space for individuals and couples. She has provided mental health care for more than 14 years. Stephanie has a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University.

I am a psychotherapist licensed in North Carolina and Virginia. In my career I have worked mainly in an in-office outpatient setting but recently I had a traveling position providing psychotherapy services to seniors in assisted living and nursing facilities along the east coast of NC. I have also had the opportunity to work in a school-based setting as well as in a juvenile residential treatment facility.

I retired from active duty right here at Fort Bragg in 2013. I love working with this population and there is no better place to do it. I also work very closely with clients in Ministry, Emergency Services, Firefighters, Law Enforcement, Nurses, and Teachers. I work on a sliding scale as well for those who choose or use the self-pay route.

Patty has extensive experience counseling older children, adolescents, adults, seniors, families, and couples in both clinical and outpatient settings.

As a seasoned professional in the addiction treatment field, my 20 years of clinical experience covers a wide variety of issues that face individuals and their families. She received her licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina in 2013 and has 20 years' experience working in a variety of helping roles supporting seniors, adults, children, families and couples. Liz has over ten years of experience working with children ages 5-11 as a school counselor.

Darryl G. McCarroll (Dr. D) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. Darryl works with individuals and couples who are in need of an empowering, motivated therapist. With experience in sex therapy as well as treating military soldiers and veterans, men, and seniors, Darryl believes in empowering his clients and assisting them with finding their truth. Darryl attended Western Illinois University for undergraduate studies in Journalism, earned a Master’s degree in Social Work, and completed his Doctoral studies at Walden University with honors.

I work with individuals ages 16 - 65+ who are struggling with anxiety and post traumatic stress symptoms. I particularly enjoy working with anyone impacted by the foster care system, individuals who have sustained childhood trauma, as well as active duty military, veterans, first responders, and people of Christian faith, especially those who have experienced spiritual abuse or religious harm. It is my passion to help people pursue healing through a mind-body approach that regulates the nervous system. This allows you to no longer live in a chronic state of fight, flight, or freeze.

Kat Burkhart is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with over 4 years of experience working with adults and seniors who are seeking assistance in coping with anxiety, stress, ADHD, depression, dysfunctional relationships, life transitions, and sexual dysfunction. Kat works with many different kinds of people, but her main focus revolves around sex therapy. Kat earned her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Sex Therapy from Capella University. She tends to think outside the box and come up with coping skills, or techniques that may be outside of traditional methods.

As an expressive arts therapist, I promote the healing power of the arts and am dedicated to helping my clients discover their strengths and healing potential. I love being able to walk with people on their healing journies, guiding them through transitions and periods of growth. I have worked with a variety of people including children with physical illness, at-risk adolescents, adults with mental illness, seniors both with and without dementia, refugees and immigrants and as a supervisor for art therapists seeking art therapy registration.
