In my assessment practice, I enjoy working with a diverse range of clients, including children and teens struggling academically or behaviorally, adults who have suffered a traumatic brain injury, individuals diagnosed with medical conditions that affect the brain, older adults concerned about memory lapses or early cognitive decline, and people with complex psychiatric disorders like severe depression, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia.

Based on my 25 years of experience, I usually recommend a holistic and objective assessment of the problems as part of the solution. These assessments include understanding, first and foremost, the needs of the individual. These can include anxiety, depression, ADHD, peer issues, family problems, stress, and many other things. I treasure the insight the individuals bring to the conversation with their questions, concerns, observations, and overall experiences. I bring these understandings to my therapy sessions and welcome those involved with the individual to lead the individual towards a more passionate, kind, fulfilling life.

I also specialize in career testing and counseling for high school students, college students, and in career transition for adults. I have served as a psychologist and director of a Christian counseling center for eight years and as a psychologist and manager for the employee assistance program for Methodist Hospitals of Dallas.
