I specialize in counseling children, adolescents and teens struggling with trauma, anxiety or depression utilizing play therapy and expressive art techniques. With 20 years of counseling experience, I work collaboratively with parents and guardians to teach creative and effective parenting strategies to improve family relationships. I hold a PhD in Counseling, with a specialty in Play Therapy. I am EMDR Certified and I incorporate EMDR into my counseling practice with clients of all ages. When appropriate, I incorporate Animal Assisted Counseling into my therapy with my small Cavapoo, named Moose.
I also offer Texas LPC supervision as well as RPT, CCPT and CPRT supervision to counselors seeking play therapy certifications.
