I am a clinician with over 25 years of experience helping people reach their personal goals and maximum potential. My proven therapeutic holistic approach, begins with establishing an empathic understanding of you as a person, teaching you to be more aware as you move through life, while you also learn to change the ineffective thoughts and behaviors that are keeping you from the life or results you want. I have worked successfully with individuals, couples and families with depression, anxiety, trauma, serious illness, suicidal ideation and self harming behaviors. I have experience with the impact of trauma and emotional injuries on development. Understanding brain development throughout childhood will help you to be a more effective parent and partner as how we are raised effects how we feel today and therefore how we interact with our partner and children.
I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have worked extensively with families who struggle with intense emotions and behaviors which often has the entire family anxious and unsure of what to do.
