I work with children, families, and adults using a blend of therapeutic approaches to best meet individual needs. I have a client centered and strength based perspective which means I believe, as the client, YOU are the expert. I will help you develop goals and then tailor my interventions based on your needs and using your strengths to help you succeed. My specialty is working with children under the age of 10 utilizing play therapy techniques to enhance expressing emotions as well as utilizing art as a median to teach skills. With adults, I use C.B.T to help clients gain insight and new perspectives around their thoughts and behaviors
I teach skills to solve problems, manage emotions, and develop healthier relationships. I have experience in trauma, including domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Clients who suffer from this can work to process the events and emotions they feel in order learn to gain back control of their lives.
