As a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist, I offer a variety of services for children, adolescents, and adults. I conduct Neuropsychological and Psychological evaluations for head injuries, neurological conditions (e.g., seizure disorders, stroke), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, developmental disorders (e.g., Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Deficiency), auditory processing disorders, and lead poisoning. I offer general intelligence assessment for employment, Gifted placement, and school admission, as well as psychological evaluations for surgery clearance (e.g., bariatric surgery candidates). I also provide psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing primarily on Cognitive-Behavioral, Interpersonal, and Humanistic treatment modalities. I believe treatment should be tailored to meet individual needs and I strive to provide a warm and safe environment for my clients to address difficulties.
I have a special interest in providing Play Therapy, which gives young children a safe and effective means of expressing their feelings and experiences so that they can work through conflicts. As part of treating children, I often also conduct parenting sessions and I offer consultations with teachers and counselors.
