Welcome! I specialize in the most evidence supported mindfulness-based therapies for the treatment of difficulties with emotion regulation. We all have those moments in life where we can't seem to get a hold of our emotions, relationships, or responsibilities. At the same time, I truly believe that we are always doing the best we can. Sometimes we simply lack the skills needed to thrive. That’s where I come in! My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and evidence-based. I treat people not disorders. I draw on your innate strengths, while integrating skills to build emotional resilience so you can navigate life with more ease.
I am certified in CBT by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and received intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and exposure protocols for anxiety, OCD, and trauma. I have trained at highly reputable institutions, including CBT California, UCLA Semel Institute, Harbor-UCLA, and Loma Linda University.
I am passionate about disseminating evidence based treatment and when I am not coaching clients, am engaged in community outreach, research, teaching, and supervision.
