A couples therapist and narrative therapist, I bring decades of heartfelt experience to re-authoring people's stories. It's not every day that you reach out to try counseling or psychotherapy for the first time. You may be hoping to move past challenges and limits that feel like they're restricting your or your partnerships' room to grow or fully embody life. My clients teach me about their experiences in a safe, caring environment. We take steps towards rewriting and living empowered stories for the past, present, and future. I have had the privilege of collaborating with countless clients toward meaningful change.
We need to discover new ways of being and becoming in a changing and challenging world. My specialties include Couple Therapy, marriage and pre-marital counseling, LGBTQQ+ community, and alternative family structures. With my art background, I work closely with artists, writers, animators, editors, directors, and actors to support their creative goals.
As a professor at Antioch University and Phillips Graduate Institute, some of my courses include The Psychology of Couples in Fiction and Film, Critical Psychology, and Human Sexuality.
