I have personal experience working with children and adolescents, young adults, relationships and life transitions. I have also worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, abuse, grief and loss and communication problems. I enjoy incorporating wellness in my sessions to help treat a clients symptoms. I minored in American Sign Language in college and currently am certified to teach ASL to children and adolescents and their families.
I enjoy demonstrating how ASL can improve communication between children and their families. This is especially important in the early years, before children have the ability to communicate and understand how to express themselves with words.
